The Board and the Inbox
The Board
Section titled “The Board”The Board sorts cards by attention, not by stage.
| Column | What lands there | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Needs you | A decision only you make | Ready to start, Challenger requests changes, Ready to ship, Checks failed, Session closed |
| Working | Something runs for the card now | Working · 6m, Challenger reviewing, Running checks, Shipping |
| Waiting | Nothing runs, nothing asked of you yet | In line, Paused, a card blocked by another |
| Done | Shipped or closed | Shipped · v2.4.1, Merged · #29 |
A finished card the Board knows is ready says Ready to ship; one you still have to read says Result ready. On a board kept on GitHub Issues each tile ends with its issue number (Ready to start · #12), a card a teammate took says Claimed by alice · #14, and one with an open pull request says Pull request open · #23.
Prefer stages? Switch to List and choose Group by › By stage, from To do to Finished. Plyloft remembers the choice per workspace.
The card page
Section titled “The card page”Open a card to see its page: properties (Status, Builder, Checks, Challenger, Blocked by, Blocks), the Now callout with the next step, What you want, Activity, and the plan, the session, the result, the diff and shipping. On a wide window the page has two columns: the card on the left and the one open section (the session, or the diff beside the result) on the right.
The Inbox
Section titled “The Inbox”The Inbox is where Plyloft opens. It lists what needs you across all workspaces, for example Claude is waiting for your answer, 1 serious issue · changes requested or The work is done · review it, each with its button.
The sidebar
Section titled “The sidebar”Under Terminals, each running session has a row: the card on top, who is doing what below, for example Claude · building · 4m. Other workspaces say how many things need you.
